Sweet tent spot in the private yard of a single family home (see photos). The tent is a generous 10 × 14 with a divider to make into two rooms if desired. Up to four 4 adults or 2 adults with children. Relax in the double hammock. Dine in the Gazebo. Grill on the BBQ. See "Guest Access" for more on use of the common spaces of the house; eg: bathrooms, etc. We welcome folks with a wide variety of interests...birding, biking, kayaking, and wine enthusiasts; just to name a few.
You only need to provide your own sleeping bags and gear. The tent is a spacious 10' x 14' cabin style tent, with optional room divider. Great for up to 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 children. Some flexibility....check with me. We can provide a Queen-sized memory foam pad.
There is a mini fridge stocked with assorted beverages. We offer a continental style breakfast of varying items such as hard cooked eggs, fruit, pastry, yogurt, juice, teas, & coffee.
Our common spaces such as the living room, dining room and kitchen are open to you; as are our outdoor spaces. We have one dedicated full bathroom for guests as well as a 1/2 bath you may use for washing up, etc. Our backyard is a nice place to relax. I'm willing to share my kitchen for prepping any food of your own as well as use of the microwave. It's my domain so please understand my hesitance to offer an all out take over. I'm pretty easy though if you respect the space. We have both a Gas BBQ/Grill and Traeger BBQ/Smoker/Grill that you may use. We enjoy socializing with our guests, so if you hang out in the common spaces, prepare to be visited with!
We will be accessible throughout your stay and truly look forward to interacting with you as much or as little as you desire.
At this time, we cannot allow for any type of fire and must insist on no smoking.
- No harassment of household pets (one chill cat and one small, but sweet elder dog) and wildlife (namely the wild turkeys that like to hang out).
I'm a lady, happy with life....a wife/mom/grandma with multiple interests; so I am master of none, but love to learn and try new things! Things that I can't live w/o....family, cooking, gardening, travel, chocolate!
Favorite travels have included Scotland, Czech Republic, Mexico, National Parks of Utah and every state I've been lucky enough to visit; especially my home state of Oregon.
Locally, we love to visit the many wonderful options that our area is so diverse with, eg: Wineries of the Willamette Valley, Oregon Coast, Lakes, Cascade Mountains, Theater, Sporting Events, and the list goes on.
Live; Laugh; above all, Love; and treasure the little things!
