Townhouse central in Oslo
Close to the city and close to the forest of Ekeberg. Free parking.
Tree bedrooms, one with normal double bed, one with normal singlebed than can be made as a double queenbed and last bedrom with children bunk bed for 1 child (1.90 length and 70 cm wide (not suitable for grown ups.). Also there is a sofabed in the living rooms downstairs and mattresses if needed.
As we are a family of 4 living here there will be personal items/toys but there will be space for clothes etc. But do not expect an empty house where nobody really lives. Toys can of course be used by other children.
Big terrace with a barbeque and seating of 4-6 persons. We have only lived here for a few months that is why we do not have bigger outdoor furnitures.
Plenty of acitivities. Ekeberg Forest (30 minutes walk), Munch Museum (15 minutes with metro), island hopping (20 minutes metro + 5 minutes walk + boat from Aker Brygge. Vigelandsparken 30 minutes direct line with metro.
Travel girl now with children.... Loves a glass of nice wine, good local food and nice B&B where "real" people live :-)
Work internationally in a scandinavian hotel chain ( Hotels are great but personally I get more out of a stay when staying in smaller, more private establishments. Like to cook and by staying in an apartment you can go to the local shop/market and have the feeling that you "live" there for a while :-)
Have always travelled. Favourite countre is France, but travel all over the world. Would like to discover more of NYC.
With 2 small children things have changed in terms of logistic etc but we still travel and will probably never stop as I think it is positive as long as you adapt the travel to their needs.
