This is a beautifully modern A-frame house with unique character, luxury finishes, high-end furnishings and lots of eclectic style in the heart of Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood.
The house has a large front yard and an open-plan layout downstairs, which makes it great for entertaining. The downstairs bedroom is converted to a sunny office (with adjoining bathroom), however 2 people can sleep on an air mattress and use the full bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and living room are spacious and inviting. The kitchen has a four-burner stove, oven, microwave, coffee grinder, coffee maker and toaster. The house has been decorated with unique color to complement the dark wood floors. There is also a new, oversize, energy-efficient washer and dryer for guests to use. The custom staircase and double-height stairwell lead to the two upstairs bedrooms, both with memory foam mattresses and ensuite bathrooms for maximum comfort and privacy. The master bedroom has a king bed, plenty of closet space and glass doors that open onto a private covered deck. The ensuite master bath has two vanities and sinks and two rainfall showerheads. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a memory foam mattress, plenty of closet space and an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall showerhead. You can make the most of the outdoor space by grilling on the covered patio at the side of the house, and street parking is free and always available. The house also has an alarm system for maximum security.
Chaz and I are in a relationship that started long-distance over 5 years ago, however we both now live in the Denver area in separate houses. I'm in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver (Sunnyside) and he's in the Broomfield/Westminster area. It's unconventional, but it works for us!
Chaz is 32, a college engineering graduate and he pays the bills by working in software between Denver and Boulder, but he's working on getting his own electric guitar manufacturing business up and running. He's a big sports fan, a part-time musician and a fitness junkie.
I'm 41, a native New Yorker, but I've lived in some amazing cities, including NYC, Boston, London and San Francisco. Until recently, I worked as a software executive. I love exploring all of the amazing things that Denver has to offer, especially the restaurants, bars, breweries and cultural activities. I enjoy writing, cooking (especially baking) and taking spinning, barre, yoga and cardio classes.
