Scandinavian designer home at charming Christianshavn with fireplace, huge living room, kitchen and a beautiful courtyard.
The apartment has three rooms and is incredibly bright with views to three sides. It's located right by the canal and very close to Christiania, the harbour bath, local cafés and restaurants counting Noma, 108 and The Paper Island. The metro stops right out side connecting you to the airport and city center within a few minutes.
We are looking forward to welcome you!
The apartments consists of two bedrooms, a very nice bathroom with both shower and bathtub and a spacious living space with kitchen, dining area, sofa area and a fireplace.
The master bedroom has a double bed and lies in open connection to the sofa area (separated by a heavy curtain), offering a view to the fireplace from the bed. The kids room consists of a daybed and a junior bed. The livingroom has a couch and a daybed (80x200 cm).
Our common courtyard is very beautiful and quiet and has chairs and tables that you can use.
The house was built in 1841 and has previously housed the Danish Film School and before that the furniture factory of Hans J. Wegner. The architecture is remarkable with its big chimney and curved facade.
Because the house is old you will sometimes hear footsteps from upstairs, as well as the neighbor downstairs will be able to hear you.
Guests may acces the entire apartment as well as the sitting area in the courtyard. Private cabinets within the apartment will be marked.
Depending on arrival time we will be present for checking in and out. Also we'll be helpful with any question you might have and we are reachable on phone and e-mail.
To make sure that our guests will get the most out of Copenhagen, we've made a welcome letter giving a short introduction to the apartment and neighborhoods + a map highlighting the best of cafés, restaurants, playgrounds, night life, turist attractions ect. in and around Christianshavn.
We expect our guest to be behave respectfully to our home and neighbors. We love our apartment and neighbors, whom we consider as close friends.

-You are welcome to use the common courtyard, just make sure you clean up after your self.
You are welcome to use our bikes, but they must always be locked to something when you park them.
We are a couple (Tobias and Cecilie) with two kids (Otto and Kai). Tobias is an interaction designer and Cecilie is an architect. We love traveling, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family. For many years we have been living in charming old Christianshavn, which is our favorite part of Copenhagen!
