Private cozy room with the essentials: clean sheets, towels, and soft carpet. Plenty of closet space available if interested in a longer visit. This is a 2 bedroom cozy apartment, originally built in the 1960s as a hotel (hence the 9 ft deep pool available to visitors). Urban legend (namely neighbors) say it was a nudist pool used by Austin hippies back in the day--no longer a nudist pool.
This place is unique in that you'll be surrounded by neighbors who have embraced the local culture of individual expression and warm hellos. The neighborhood is a mix of UT students, hipsters, groovy long-time east-side locals, and young professionals walking their dogs or babies in strollers. You can easily walk across the street and stumble upon a show, music, food, and drinks, or you can catch ride to the infamous 6th street (less than 10 minutes away in a car).
Street parking available along Maple Street and E 22nd Street. Entrance gate closest to apartment unit is located on E 22nd St and Maldon Pl. Gate access code available upon confirming reservation.
Megabus Station is only 6 minutes driving distance. 20 minutes on the city bus (Route 20 Northbound toward Loyola & Ed Bluestein).
Pool is also available to their guest and plus 1. It has a resort kinda feel with its surrounding palm trees.
I am currently making my new home ready for baby! I'm only about 10 minutes away from the apartment should you need anything. My brother in law stays in the second bedroom and is usually out most of the day. We are LGBTQ friendly, all day everyday!
