Surrounded by an exuberant atlantic rainforest reserve, this vast property is an ideal mix of luxurious privacy and convenient location.
Only minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and the best that Ubatuba has to offer in food and entertainment, guests will find they can spoil themselves to their pleasing in this secluded paradise.
The colonial style residence comfortably houses 8 guests amongst its 4 ample suites, even though we have had families of 4 or 5 guests enjoy it just as well.
For those who like to cook (and eat!) the kitchen is fully equipped with top of the line appliances and utensils to take on the delicious local produce. We provide a guide of the local markets and organic produce providers for you to get the best out of your experience here. We also grow our owns organics such as bananas, maracujas, mandiocas, tomatoes, free range eggs, lettuce, arugula, basil, and more at the Fazenda, and we are pleased to share this with our guests (seasonal of course).
Should you want to just relax and stay at the house (which tends to happen to our guests a lot) the pool space is ample as are the varandas with couches and hammocks for you to comfortably enjoy a nap or a book. There is also wi-fi throughout.
Should you want alternative entertainment, in the living room there is a ton of couch space for everyone to hang out and read (we also have a selection of books for you to enjoy), high quality powered speakers for you to plug in and listen to your music, an antique foosball for some competitive activities and table games for family and friends joy. You will not be bored...even if it rains!
The grounds also include several trails and access to secluded natural pools and waterfalls as close as a 10 minute walk from the house. Great to cool down, soak up the untouched nature, hike, bird watch, or simply inhale the most pure air. Great place for meditation practice.
Guest have access to the house and all it's facilities, except the deposit where we keep some of our personal belongings.
Sheets, towels, and beach towels will be provided by us and regularly changed.
Bicycles (everyone uses one around here), beach lounge chairs and umbrellas as well as some snorkelling equipment are also available for guest use.
We do not stay at the property during the guest's stay.
We do tend to come around if asked and are usually nearby and accessible to give tips on what do, where to go as well as handle any request guests may have.
Our housekeepers, Denise and Dijalma, live in a house nearby. Denise cleans the house every day, except Sunday's, she can also prepare some delicious local dishes (you should try her moqueca - a local seafood stew), and Dijalma takes care of the grounds and the pool.
Tip: ask him to make you some of the most incredible caipirinhas you have ever tasted (he used to work as a barman).
Here you will have profound contact with Mother Earth.
Appreciate no tobacco smoking inside the house as well as no parties.
We obviously welcome (and encourage) barbecues, reunions, dinners etc.
