Bang for the buck, this is the place! There were a few quirks but for the price, I had to give it five stars anyway. Everything else I searched within the area were significantly more expensive. Overall was great, easy to walk to French Quarter/ Bourbon St. Place was spacious enough for the five of us and it was pretty nice inside the room. Some of the quirks: we had to setup the air mattress and do a load of laundry to have enough sheets for the extra bed and I'm glad I brought my own towel because I'm not sure there were enough. Wasn't expecting toiletries so I did bring my own shampoo/bath gel but there wasn't even hand soap for the kitchen or bathroom so we ended up buying some. Also be prepared to shower in a pretty large pool of water up to your ankles and make a crazy wet mess in the bathroom as only half the tub is shielded from the shower. On the flip side, they were well stocked with laundry detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels. If you're looking for a convenient place to stay on a budget, this is for you!
Myself and two of my friends loved the location of the unit, you're about a 15-20 minute walk or $5-$11 Uber/Lyft ride from all the major attractions of New Orleans. The only down side is the noise from sirens making their way to a hospital a couple blocks away. The walls of the building are fairly thin, making it easy to hear anything going on in the hall or a couple units down. As Expected in any big city you have to pay for parking but there's several parking garages surrounding the building. We parked on a Friday around 3 and left Monday around 10:30 and spent $60 on parking, so just prepare for that, but I believe it's the same anywhere else. The only real concern with the unit is the shower, it did not drain well at all. A short shower of 10 minutes left you with water around your ankles and a soaked floor from only having half of the shower closed off and the rest open. If you aren't traveling with your own towels, the ones provided are on the smaller side. All three of us are pretty petite girls and found them small. Overall, the unit is very spacious! We loved the security aspect as you need a key fob to enter the building. Gordon responds fairly quickly to messages and is great with checkin/check out instructions.
