Temagami is the reality that fuels the popular perception of Canada's great Northland. 3,000 miles of shoreline harboring over 1,200 islands. Old growth pine forests; smooth, blue waters and bountiful fish and wildlife. This is Canada! Generations of indigenous peoples, traders, naturalists, photographers, painters, poets, and tourists have been lured by Lake Temagami's natural beauty and spiritual allure. This gorgeous setting has 3 private docks. The main dock has ample space to park 4 boats.
The property stands on 2 1/2 acres with two, adjacent 4-bedroom cottages directly overlooking the lake with ample sleeping accommodation for two large families or 15-20 people.
Both cabins have magnificent lake views. They are each completely self-contained with separate kitchen and laundry facilities. July and August are ideal for a one-of-a-kind experience of cottage life in Canada, in a tranquil water paradise far away from the noise hustle, bustle and stress of city life.
Two perfectly blended styles provide unique views, special for moments of relaxation and intimate moments with family and friends. The traditional cottage has a full southern exposure. The renovated cottage is set on a point with a 270 degree southern and western exposure.
The large, classic cabin offers an opportunity to host guests and large families and to experience the utmost that northern cottage living can provide. The beautiful natural setting includes a picture window in the living room and incredible views from deck and porch areas.
The renovated cabin on the point offers dual exposures to maximize the outdoor sunlight. Inside you will be impressed with the spacious feel of the open concept living area with sunken dining room and large glass windows or doors all the way on 3 walls.
The living/dining rooms and 2 bedrooms on the ground floor offer vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has lovely soapstone counter tops and a direct view into the dining area. The raised living room, is accented with a beautiful stone fireplace and large windows looking out to water in three directions. Pine floors provide great character throughout.
Water activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and exploring the multitude of virgin islands and inlets to explore. Three docks, multiple decks and porches are a perfect setting for reading or relaxing.
