Grand Apartement à Québec secteur limoilou ( 6 1/2) avec un cachet chaleureux - balcon avant et arrière .
Great great value for price, the house is huge and has all the basic comforts. It is a bit far from the touristic area of Old Quebec City but it is well served with buses. Remy is a fantastic host, very easy to communicate with and was very helpful when I asked to extend my staying for an extra night. The bathroom is a bit small, but being there alone this was not an issue at all for me. I stayed for 8 days and I really enjoyed it!
Thanks for your good comments , it's appreciated .... we do invest every month to create the best for ours guests because we use very often airbnb places and we do appreciate also living in a good well maintenance place where is good to be - we want to have the apartment like if it was us renting the place
Rémi's apartment is of a very good size, simple and clean, with comfortable beds, located in an excellent neighborhood with nice restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. We liked a lot the bike rental shop in 2 min walk from the apartment where you can have a completely new bike for just $25 a day! Nice running and biking paths very close to the apartment will let you see the city in much greater detail than a car. You can leave your car for free in apartment backyard. Alexandre
Remy's apartment was superby located, in a great neighborhood of Quebec City (Limoilou). We had an excellent time getting around. There were many cafes and restaurants in the surroundings , the supermarket is within 2 blocks and we also could get to the Sunday neighborhood market! Parking was easy in the street or around the apartment too. The old Port of Quebec is within walking distance (20-30 min) via the nice walkway on the side of the St Charles river. The apartment was clean, spacious and well furnished (bathroom is a bit small but tub size is generous). The kitchen equipment was useful and the appliances were in excellent condition. We did appreciate the brand new washer+dryer too. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with the last flight of stairs being pretty steep. We were nevertheless able to climb them with our baby in our arms. As we were traveling with our 2yo baby boy, Remy kindly made available a playpen and high chair and both of them were extremely clean, which we really appreciated. Remy was a great and kind host, who always provided useful information. We had a great time in Quebec City and this was in good part due to Remy's apartment. We would definitely recommend the space!
We stayed here because it had enough beds that no one had to share during two nights of a five day road trip. It is an older building with some common quirks--the stairs are steep and narrow, the balcony railings are low by modern standards, the bathroom (right off the kitchen) is extremely small, and the tub only has a handheld shower attachment that was tricky for taller folks to use. Remy was very easy to communicate with and check-in was easy (we were able to let ourselves in). When we stayed in August 2017, this location needed a bit of upkeep and some extra furniture to be a really great stay. It smelled musty, some paint was peeling and the old carpet was stained in one room, curtains were tacked and duct-taped to bedroom doors (to cover glass), a leg fell off the futon when I converted it to bed mode, the blinds were broken in one bedroom, and the bathroom only had a tiny shaving mirror on the wall (my daughter had to do her hair using the reflection of the TV screen). The balconies did not have any seating. The living room had a futon and a rocking chair plus there were a couple folding chairs but the seating options are limited for 4 or 5 people. It's a suitable place for sleeping and eating, but a bit sparse for spending an evening in. Parking is on the street and is not designated. We were able to easily find a spot on the block each time we returned.
