ABOUT THE HOUSE
After a day on the beach, cool off in the living room, where you’ll find two chairs and a sleeper sofa that pulls out to a full-size bed. Chat about the day’s adventures in front of the decorative fireplace, or watch your favorite movies on the 60” flat screen TV. There is additional bench seating by the window and two chairs in the open foyer next door—ideal for large groups.
The renovated kitchen has a pass-through window to the dining room and features granite counters, a mosaic tile backsplash, and a gas range. Pack a lunch for the beach or sip a glass of wine and prepare a light evening meal, then gather at the six-person dining table by the bay window. Or take your meal to the back patio, where you’ll find another table for six.
After dinner, head to the game room for a round of shuffle puck—an indoor take on the classic beachfront pastime.
Later, sit on the front porch swing for a nightcap and a little people watching. Or head to the back porch, which overlooks the lush landscaped yard and stunning Orchid tree.
Upstairs, the master bedroom includes a king bed with white linens and a newly remodeled en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and freestanding soaking tub. One guest room has a king bed, the other has two twin-over-full bunk bed sets. And there is a large hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
There is on-street parking available for two cars. Do not block other homes with vehicles. No trailers or RV’s are allowed on the property or on the street. No large functions are allowed at this home such as Weddings, or other events that will have more than 12 people on property at any time. This is a family neighborhood and the neighbors are active in the neighborhood watch program.
This home is just a few blocks from the beach. Stretch out on the sand, take a stroll along Seawall Boulevard, or check out the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier for amusements, rides, and boardwalk eats.
There are several dining options within walking distance, including Fish Tails and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.—both are about a 7-minute walk.
The shops and restaurants of the Strand Historic District are just a mile away. Transit lovers won’t want to miss the Galveston Railroad Museum. If you’re hungry, try Brews Brothers, a stylish taproom with American fare. Pick up an ice cream cone at the 1920s-style La King’s Confectionary and explore Saengerfest Park.
Adventurers will want to hit Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark and Moody Gardens, which features an aquarium, zip line, and paddleboat. Both are a 15- to 20-minute drive.

Cleaning: Each property will be cleaned and inspected after your departure. We ask you to help us enable the cleaning crews as much as possible. Simple things like leaving the property tidy, running the dishwasher, starting to wash the towels, and taking out the trash are expected of our guests.
If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. Unless the rental policy specifically allows, if any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes Owner to charge the guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee.
Properties are fully furnished properties that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, furnishings unless otherwise specified.
