My husband and I purchased our 1886 home in the Salem Willows area a few years back and have been lovingly "restovating" it ever since, meaning we used many building materials and fixtures salvaged from other antique buildings.
There is a fully equipped two room apartment in the basement, that is half above grade. It's full sized windows let in plenty of light and give a direct view of the ocean. Because thousands of tourists visit Salem every year, back in 2012, we decided to try listing it on Airbnb and have loved it doing it.
We now manage two additional properties on Airbnb. Be sure to check them out as well!
I am, as my son and daughter call me, a "creative whirlwind" who loves to do many things including, yoga dancing, painting, gardening, beading and collecting sea glass. I was a tour guide at the Salem Witch Museum and love talking about Salem's rich history. Traveling is also high on my list.
I currently teach "Let Your Yoga Dance," an energetic and joyful conscious movement class. I am also a Marconic Quantum Recalibration Practitioner which is a powerful new energy protocol.
I adore tea and brew a pot of whole leaf tea every afternoon.
