I didn't actually meet Boris, but his housemate Karman who he runs it with. Karman was an absolute hero who went above and beyond the call of duty here, extremely accommodating and welcoming. In just two nights I feel like we became good friends. The apartment is cool with a balcony view facing the mountains. Facilities all satisfactory and location excellent, right next to a metro station and a supermarket. I found it really cool to stay in a genuine Bulgarian person's apartment as opposed to a hostel room and I think one appeal in this place is that authenticity. I think this place especially suits laid back and 'alternative' types in keeping with the vibe of the place. This was my first ever air bnb stay and I'm kicking myself for not having done it sooner. Thank you Boris and Karman!
Great communication from outset. Arrived in Sofia at 4am. Got slightly lost when arriving near apartment. Boris was away but contacted his housemate who came and got me at 4:30am. Kamen (housemate) was really hospitable and friendly. Appreciated the flexible check in time. Great guys and great place. Easy access to public transport and racks are cheap. Thank you.
Boris is a nice guy who is very friendly and easy to communicate with. His flat is basic but does the job for the price. Great wifi and great view from the room - Vitosha Mountain directly outside. Location is very good - easy access to shops and banks and nice little restaurants. Also very well connected by Metro (literally outside), trams and taxis. It is basic, but it is also budget, so you can't complain.
