Dear Susan, I am very sorry for our bad experience (it was bad for both sides I assume) but I have to point out some things: 1) You have requested the same day check-in. It has been done on 29th of December when literally all Cyprus has left for vacations and no one was working. You sounded very demanding in your pre-booking messages and I had an intuitive feeling that we shouldn't have accommodated you. I remembered your attitude when we met before at the viewing of one property (which also had to be arrange asap according to your request) and you have disappeared after and didn't find a minute to send a text to say that you have found something else and you do not need our help anymore. I still decided to help. I was in the plane when you have started sending booking requests without enquiring if we have time to prepare the flat for your check-in, without asking ANY additional questions. You have sent the booking request straight away and was pushing me to accept it. 2) Although I was travelling and had no internet access in the plane I have confirmed your request when I arrived to my destination point. I have sent you the number of our team member who had a day off, she has managed to arrange the cleaning (that was very difficult as everyone was abroad or with their families) and she has contacted you and you have met in the flat the time you wanted. Everything has been done according to your request. 3) During your stay you have not sent any complaints about the flat. I was surprised to read about bugs, smells etc. I suppose when you have these things in the flat you inform the owner. 4) If you had some complaints or comments you could send us a letter and we would do our best to fix the problems. We had other properties in the same complex and we could move you immediately there. For some reason you haven't done this. And honestly I do not understand why. Unfortunately because of these kind of situations and feedbacks we have to limit our cooperation with Airbnb clients as they literally have the right to write anything they want in their feedbacks and misuse the properties. It is even more sad to receive this feedback from a person whom you was trying to help and who was desperate to find a place to stay in particular complex urgently when no one would even answer the phone to provide accommodation. As they say: Don’t do good – won’t endure the evil. This is the same case.
