A wonderful cozy bedroom in the very heart of East Village. It's literally in front of Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan. This is a charming quintessential NYC building that would enrich your stay (built in 1900!)
- Shared bathroom
- Brand-new bed
- Fresh sheets and towels
- AC & heating
- Shelve space
- Bunk bed
- 4th floor in walk-up building
- Virtual doorman
You will have access to your (shared) bedroom, the living room, kitchen, and a shared bathroom. During each stay, we expect that the host's personal bedroom is off limits to guests.
I always strive to provide as much flexibility as possible to all guests regarding check-in and check-out timeframes as well as being responsive in a timely manner to smoothen your booking process!
I will be happy to provide tips and directions if you find yourselves needing some. If you are more of a solo traveler, that’s fine as well! I have been able to meet some wonderful people as a host in Boston so I am excited to keep on meeting others in NYC!
Lastly, this is a listing open to people from all backgrounds. We are a gay-friendly apartment and looking forward to hosting people from all nationalities, ethnicities, races, and backgrounds in general!
Please note that this is a very small bedroom, 40 sq. feet / 3.75 sq. meters to be precise (hence the amazing price given the location). The bunk bed in it will fit snugly in the room, leaving minimum space for you to access the shelves toward the end of the room and there is no closet space available. Also, there is limited space between the top bed and the ceiling and it's designed for a medium-sized adult only.
The room has no windows and it's cooled by the A/C in the living room.
If you are looking for a quintessential Manhattan experience, small spaces turned into bedrooms might be your thing!
- To keep the place nice and tidy, this is a shoe-free apartment
- We are looking for quiet and respectful guests given that we have families as neighbors. As a result, I would ask to please keep noise levels in the house at a minimum between 9pm and 8am (you can still cook and watch TV, etc. just don't go around moving furniture :)
- Other than that, just please keep common areas clean
My name is Alfredo and I am an incoming PhD student in Political Science at New York University. I dedicate most of my time to study issues of international development and the political economy of institutions. Other than that, you may find me dancing tango. I enjoy very much meeting people from different cultures (either by me traveling or meeting them in my home town). And I must confess I am also a bit of a gastronomic/foodie traveler.
Thanks for checking out my place :)
