This house is located very nearby the beach in a residential area, so even though it's 3-5 minutes from the beach, depending on the traffic signal, it's very quiet at night even if there are big parties going on at the beach. The house itself is nice, and the room is spacey (especially after she removed a couch that was in the room). The toilet and shower are like a normal Korean house's, combined and wet, and while the hot water has to be turned on manually, it gets very hot. The host is very nice, and tries to do things with her guests (we had dinner/lunch and hung out a lot while I was there) so don't worry if you don't have much to do. Considering the price and location, there aren't really any downsides, but there are a few notes. One thing is that there really isn't a "bathroom sink" -- you either use the kitchen sink, or use the shower faucet. There also isn't dedicated wifi (although Luna said she may be getting some soon) and only limited pocket wifi available, so if you have to use your computer you may have to go to a coffee shop or tether on your phone. The kitchen is small with only one burner and a mini fridge, so if you want to cook it may be difficult. There is also no washing machine, and if you stay a long time and need to do laundry the closest coin laundry is about a 10-15 min walk away. Overall, even considering these things (the only one that affected me was the coin laundry, but it wasn't a big hassle), the stay was great and when I come back to Busan I'd absolutely stay there again.
My stay was a very pleasant one at this cozy, clean and unique little place. The host/s are helpful, friendly and even shared a meal or two with me. Inside the small apartment there is more space or rooms than I first thought. It feels homely yet simple and even, perhaps, a little artistic. The residential area is nice and quite & a short walk to the Gwangalli beach - Even from the roof of the building you can see the famous bridge. Also, in the nearby streets and therefore all around there are small eateries, coffee shops and more… and an independent convenience store is very close. Walking from the subway station is quite easy, although the host, Luna met me upon my arrival which made things easier. I would definitely stay here again!
