Argh. Yes, I am friendly and helpful, and yet still get judged. Actually the fruit flies were because of the compost under the kitchen sink; yes, they also got into my cherry tomatoes on the countertop. The Bunny Bucket and your contributions (which I appreciated) went into the fridge wherever there was room. Yes, I dealt with them, and I'm sure fruit flies have happened to you. I did apologize to you about the above infractions of my pets, and I also had warned you about the laptop cable and the things that rabbits will go for. It would have been nice if you had mentioned that the rabbits had an opportunity to get your belt because you forgot to close your door and it was on the floor. (I picked up the massage roller up from the floor a few times - the perfect opportunity, and texture, for getting dinged by the rabbits, and I'm surprised they didn't.) Associated mess/smell - well, you freely used the den downstairs, which is where they live, and _actually, I *don't* invite most guests downstairs unless I'm there too_ - I was not clear about that, since you stayed here for a week and then two, it didn't seem to bother you, and it would be inhospitable to not let you. In two weeks of staying here, habits will never be 100%, yours or mine, and we seemed to be easygoing. You neglected to mention that Pinkerton got on the table because he was sitting with my visiting friend, who simply didn't think about not letting him on the table - don't make it appear that it's my habit by extension.
Clearly I need to get a baby gate and not let my animals out if people are here, and be more strict about boundaries with guests, even though that reduces the overall easy and joy people have from pets and being at home.
