Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest Service Ranger Station, just east of Skykomish. Phone Numb(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
The house is in the heart of the historic railroad Town of Skykomish on the banks of the river. It is located a few miles from the ghost town of Wellington and the Iron Goat Trail. Stevens Pass Ski Resort is 15 minutes up the hill and during Summer months the Pacific Trail hikers stop off in Skykomish for supplies. Mountain bikers can now access the lifts for downhill adventures in a mountain bike park that is geared to all levels of expertise.
The house has two bedrooms with full-sized beds, bathroom with towels and hair dryer, large kitchen with full size range, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, all the cutlery and pots and pans and kitchen tools you need, large dining table and sits on the south bank of the Skykomish River. You also have a mud room with washer and dryer and space to leave your boots, skis snowboards and outdoor gear. The living room is large and comfortable and can accommodate extra guests by arrangement. Bed linens, comforters and soft pillows all provided for your convenience.
Most likely we will not see much of each other except to give you access and then to see you off. The entire house is yours to enjoy in private.
This is a strictly non-smoking house. No housekeeping fee but I expect the house to be returned to the same condition; a short check-out list is provided to assist. If you need a housekeeping service please let me know and I can refer an excellent resource.
Pets allowed by arrangement with fee.
I am Irish, moved to the United States many years ago and love the North West. Snowcapped mountains, rushing rivers, tall trees and green valleys. It is the perfect place for the outdoor enthusiast!
I love riding my bike and like to pack it with me when I travel. Recently I've been very envious of the four guys who rode their horses all the way from Arizona to the Canadian border, what an adventure! Looking forward to seeing the documentary they are working on--Unbranded.
So many places I want to go but Scotland is on my horizon! First I gotta get out of this office!
