The apartment is inside a quintessentially Mexican apartment complex, which we like to refer to endearingly as “La Vecindad”. As a friendly, community-oriented, and environment of artists, La Vecindad is ideal for students, travellers or foreigners looking for short-term, seasonal or long-term lodging.
Jet lag? No worries, the bedroom has thick curtains from floor to ceiling.
La Vecindad is a wonderful and peaceful place for someone who plans on working or studying from home. The constant sounds of church bells ringing in the distance, the singing of the birds, and the usual fireworks exploding in the sky are a soothing soundtrack. The downstairs area is usually cool and well-lit, making the living room the ideal place to hang out, drink some tea or have a relaxing time reading or listening to some music.
There are some lovely outdoor rooftop areas inside “La Vecindad”, where you could enjoy a nice view of Querétaro.
I’m a night owl, so expect me to be sound asleep during “normal hours”. But, I'm usually available if you need me. Let's go for a walk and for a cup of tea.
The washing machine is at my house. If you need to do your laundry, just contact me.
- No loud music or noises after 23:00 hrs. We like our neighbourhood to be a quiet place during the night.
- Although no parties are allowed, small reunions are perfectly fine, just check with me first.
- No smoking inside the house. There are some lovely outdoor rooftop areas inside “La Vecindad”, where you could smoke and enjoy a nice view of Querétaro.
- Be respectful of the common areas, as our neighbours try really hard to keep our vecindad beautiful and cozy at all times.
