My husband and I spend a lot of time finding the perfect accommodations for our trips, and we've never had anything like this before. Staying with Emiliano and Alessandro is like being hosted by family. They were full of attention for our wellbeing, as well as our 4 month old daughter's. Interactions were frequent, easy and pleasant. The house itself is consistent with the above: you can tell it was designed with great care, love, and impeccable taste. The detail-oriented travelers will really appreciate the depth of this house, with the old and the new blending in together in a seamless, thoughtful manner. The windows in the living room offer a breathtaking view of the nearby hills and village, sometimes we simply sat on the couch and indulged in the view for lengthy periods of time. Lastly, the location allowed us to travel to adjacent cities quickly and easily. We visited Firenze, Lucca, Prato, and Pistoia; all were well within driving distance even with the "baby factor" (which limits our tolerance for long drives). We could sense that for Alessandro and Emiliano, giving is a reward onto itself. We endorse them with absolutely no reservations, they truly deserve it.

A truly wonderful place. Beautiful and very well equipped cottage with private gardens. We very much enjoyed relaxing on the hammock amongst the olive trees. Fantastic hosts that could not do enough for us but also respected our privacy. Cannot recommend enough.

We had a very relaxing time at Alessandro and Emiliano's beautiful cottage. Every room of the apartment opens to either the lovely garden or the stunning view. There is a separate drive-in entrance and a lot of privacy. The cottage is surrounded by a terrace that has four separate nooks, that can be used for lounging, dinner, reading or just enjoying the surroundings. There is a day bed in the garden, perfect spot for stars-watching! The cottage itself is very comfortable, all together functional, tastefully decorated and homey. You can feel that every object and piece of furniture has been carefully picked, with a few whimsical pieces here and there. Both bathroom and kitchen are well appointed, with a mix of antique pieces (and old vanity in the bathroom and a vintage scale in the kitchen) and modern appliances - they did a great work with the lighting. The location is very convenient, quiet and "remote" but only 10mn from the charming town of Prato and a 20mn train ride from Prato to Florence. Alessandro and Emiliano are gracious hosts: communicative, friendly and informative. We also enjoyed the company of their two labradors, Rocco and Giorgio. We would be happy to go back, and recommend their place for an unforgettable vacation.

Alessandro's House really is a little paradise! We spent wonderful days there and we can highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished holiday home in a beautiful surrounding. Many thanks to Alessandro and Emiliano for Your hospitality!

If this accommodation is available - don't hesitate, don't look any further. Just BOOK IT! Its way more gorgeous and amazing than any photos will be able to capture. Its magical, modern, has literally everything you could ever possibly need. It's a beautiful building from the 16th century, tastefully decorated, with all modern day facilities, a nice outside dining area, sun terrace and a pretty amazing private garden :) These guys are the best hosts you'll ever meet. We arrived late and supermarkets were about to close, no restaurants open long enough. They immediately offered homemade pasta sauce for us to use for dinner - though they got back with a massive tray of the most amazing food and a bottle of wine. That is hospitality at its finest. Please note you will need a car - its up hill and about 15min drive to Prato train station.

This place is an absolute gem! We stayed here for two weeks and got the real deal: a beautiful tuscan experience! Since there are so many positive things to say about this stay – one of my best Airbnb experiences so far – I will put them in order for you: *Hospitality* Everything – from the warm welcome with a glas of prosecco and tips for our stay to the farewell – was wonderful. Alessandro is a warm-hearted, considerate host who thinks of so many things to make your stay even better. He spoiled us with little surprises every other day – like fresh eggs or a bowl of salad. Also, Alessandro introduced us to the local organic farmer in the neighbourhood, where we could buy fresh vegetables to cook yummi meals. One day we went to a local cheesefarm together. These are things you wouldn't figure out on your own – it's not possible to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) them – you need to get introduced by a local. That was precious to us and something you can't buy but have to experience. *House inside and outside* The house looks exactely as you can see on the pictures or even better – especially the external area is very spacious and gives you a lot of opportunities to relax. We loved lying in the deck chairs, sipping a glas of wine, reading and just enjoying ourselves. Also there was a vintage bed outside between the olive trees where we were lying at night looking at the stars philosophizing. We also loved all the details inside the house – the stone walls, the wooden ceilings, the classic marble sink in the kitchen – it's just a lot of tuscan life quality you get with a house furnished like this. *Things to do* Fugnagno is surrounded by the pure, beautiful and raw nature of Tuscany. You can go hiking or do bike trips from here (there are bikes ready to use in front of the house). Also, the famous cities of Tuscany like Florence, Siena or Lucca are easy to access with the car. We visited a couple of vineyards to buy wine and enjoyed the old town of Prato, which is just a 10 minute drive from the house. Furthermore you can access the beach from here in one hour – we did it twice. And last but not least: There are many restaurants nearby to have dinner. All in all it's the perfect side to enjoy all of which Tuscany has to offer.

Posizione eccellente e panoramica, I proprietari sono davvero calorosi e gentili. 5 stelle meritatissime!

I've been living at 'La Terrazza al Duomo' in Florence and it is amazing.
The cottage is in the countryside where I live, close to me, my small paradise.
I am fond of art and traveling, I believe in empathy and I love to share my experiences with everybody.
