This 1st floor apartment, in a house from 1916, is super cosy and a little old-fashioned. For example, there's no dish washer, but the loveliest view when you do the dishes :) The bedroom has a 2x2 meter futon of the best organic quality - you can easily sleep 2 adults and a child in it. The apartment and surroundings are very child friendly. Just behind the house there's a garden, shared with the other apartments.
I've decorated the apartment with a mixture of new, good quality furniture/items and used furniture/items. A lot of nice things I've basically just found in the streets of Copenhagen and Gentofte. I'm very much into recycling, quaint details, colours and natural materials. My last home was a straw bale house in an eco village - perhaps you can sense that here and there :)
Since I have a 3-year-old son I've also decorated the apartment as child friendly as possible: Child safety locks on the windows, all sharp knives high up in a cuppard, and generally not too many things that kids can ruin or hurt themselves on. The gas stove is the only thing that hasn't been made child safe yet, so you might want to keep an eye on that.
I've only had the apartment since December 2016, so I'm still in the process of decorating, but the essential things are there.
You can use the entire apartment as well as the small communal garden (the one with swings) behind the house. Behind the building there's also a private parking lot (please don't use the school's parking lot). If you need parking space for 2 cars that's fine.
While you rent my apartment I'll be staying at my mom's place, a 10 min. drive away. If you need help with anything I can come over rather quickly, or guide you on the phone.
At the minute I don't have WIFI. Once I've sorted that, I'll update the list of facilities.
Please notice that the junior bed is only 140 cm long.
The laundry machine and dryer are shared with other apartments, so you need to book those (I can show you where/how) and pay with coins.
When you leave the house, the windows ned to be either completely closed or opened to the first notch of the robbery safety lock.
Please leave your shoes outside on the small shoe rack, or in the hallway just inside the apartment.
