We spent our holiday during august on this apartment. First impression was good even tho we arrived in the middle of the cleaning (20.00PM). We left our stuff to the apartment for a while and went for a walk to see Nice. The apartment itself was nice and clean, but when we finally settled down to the house we saw that Several things were missing, and these we had to buy ourselves: Toilet paper (actually there wasn’t any when we arrived) Cleaning equipment for the dishes and every single cleaning powder that one household needs (For dishwasher etc).Of course we know that this isn’t hotel but in our opinion these are common things that should be in any apartment that you are renting. The main issue was the renovation noise from 09.00 AM to 03.00 PM that lasted four days, even on Sunday. This was a big issue for us cause it…. Us from sleeping, and spending time in the apartment. We contacted Anis and told him about the noise, and these problems above. He said that he would go and take care of the noise, and give us the money back from the equipment that we had to buy to the aparment… The noise continued till the end of our holiday which we weren’t informed before booking the apartment. And a day later they came to apartment to do some fixing for the shade on the apartments balcony (and no we weren’t informed about this thing either until that particular day) And on the same visit they brought us the same cleaning equipment that we already bought 3 days ago with our own money??????? We asked for a discount because of the noise and the issues I bothered before, and they were willing to pay total 30 euros. These are small things and we maybe wouldn’t write this review so harsh, but the main problem was communicating. We were contacted with three persons during the holiday and when we asked the owners number they said that they can’t give it to us. All of these guys were texting messages to us on French that we had to translate on our own and that took our precious time. Looks like Anis doesn’t talk English that much, luckily he’s friends do. So yeah Nice treated us well, but this apartment and the people working around it certainly didn’t, big NO recommendation for this one.
