1 bedroom comfortable apartment just for you. Not sharing at all. Specially good for coming back and relax from a long day of walking in the city. Clean sheets , towels and WiFi provide, cable TV. Kitchen with all necessary stuff.
We stayed at Andres' place for 5 nights and it was nothing short of incredible. First off, Andres was always very quick to respond and very clear and helpful with directions on how to find the place, check in, etc. Secondly, the place is just as nice as it appears in the pictures, if not better. It was even more spacious than it appears and it was very clean for our arrival and well decorated. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, the living room was very comfortable and the cable tv & wifi was great. There wasn't a table to eat at but Andres did mention the place was new and he was still getting everything together--we ate at the coffee table and that was enough for us. The bedroom had plenty of closet space & outlets for changing (there were USB ports built into the bedside tables which was a nice touch). Bed was pretty comfy. The location was great. The surrounding neighborhood was safe, clean, and quiet. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, grocery/liquor stores, shops and laundromats within a couple blocks. You get some pretty incredible views of the city right close by. There's a bus stop about 3 blocks away to take you into the city for $3 each way. It took us to 42nd & 8th in about 15 minutes. If we wanted to head into the city it was very easy, but also we were content with just staying in the area some evenings. I drove into NJ, so I had my car. It was nice to be able to get around, but parking was a bit of a challenge initially. Most of the parking around the apartment is by meter/permit only. However, there are a couple of municipal lots not too far: one is on 47th and Bergenline, which is free to park overnight. The other is on 38th and Bergenline, which is a bit of a hike but feels a bit more secure since it's a parking garage. It's $0.50 an hour but you can keep it there however long you'd like. We could have easily paid $40-$50 and left it there for our entire stay. We really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend Andres' place and would absolutely stay again in the future.
Andres’ place was amazing. The pictures dont do it justice. Very clean and very spacious. Tons of room for 1 or 2 people. Kitchen was very nice and stocked with everything you need to make food. Grocery store was a 30 second walk away same as laundry as well as restaurants etc. The bus stop was a 10 second walk away from the place. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to go to NY to stay at his place. The price is great and you won’t be disappointed. Anytime I had any concerns or questions, Andres responded within minutes and explained everything. He also doesn’t bother you with anything unless you ask him for something. Andres was very respectful and courteous. If we come back, we will look to stay with Andres again. Thanks Andres, the trip was amazing. Only concern was the sore feet from the amount we walked during trip throughout NYC.
Great house, great location. Andres was very helpful. Never "disturbed" us, unless we did. :) For those who do not want to rent a car in NY (we do not recommend that, due to traffic and parking costs), bus no 156 is just around the corner of the apartment or bus no 159/166 just 5 minutes walking to go to Manhattan. Also a big supermarket to have something good for breakfast just 2 minutes around the corner.
