You will have use of the entire house, which is 4 blocks north of the historic Warm Springs Avenue. This house is set up to be a peaceful guest retreat. This house is ideal for solos, couples or two people traveling together who want separate and private sleep spaces. The airport is only 13 minutes away. The house is economically priced, compared to others in this desirable downtown neighborhood, making it a great choice for extended stays! Built in 1910, this historic house is bright and cheerful with two sky lights. This home is often described by my guests as “Quiet, homey, roomy and had everything we needed”. A living room, fully outfitted kitchen, two bedrooms (both with doors that close making them real bedrooms!) and one bathroom. The front room has a large leather couch, a comfortable upholstered bench and a dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is small but complete with a granite island and a small desk for computer work with outlets and lamp. The house has a TV with streaming Netflix, Amazon and Pandora and a secured high speed internet. Unfortunately, there is not cable. The larger bedroom has a queen size bed with a bedside table, reading lamp, closet and storage. The second bedroom is smaller with a double bed, bed side table, reading lamp and a closet and storage. The house has one bathroom with a large vanity counter top, makeup mirror, blow dryer and a combination claw foot tub/shower. A laundry room with detergent and an iron. There is a covered back porch in a fenced in backyard with lawn furniture. I have very high standards for cleanliness. The house has central A/C and a natural gas furnace. The house is just under 800 square feet. Walk, cycle or Uber to the Botanical Gardens, Outlaw Field, BSU, the city center, the foothills and the Boise River Greenbelt.
A keypad is on the front door for independent check in anytime after 3:00 pm. Earlier access may be possible, just ask. I will communicate the code via email. Free parking is on the street and usually you can park directly in front of the house.
I will be available to return text messages with questions or concerns. I will give you your privacy in the house and will not bother you. I keep a small vintage travel trailer in the rear of the property and may stay there on occasion. I have my own back yard entrance, and I will not disturb you. I am very hands on with the care my house but prefer to leave my guests alone to enjoy their stay.
The bathroom has a vintage claw foot tub/shower without grab bars.
Good balance and healthy joints are a necessity.
Like all the homes in our neighborhood, there are 4 steps at the front and back door, both with handrails.

I love vintage homes and travel trailers. This house is an ongoing project and a source of fun and pride. I work as an orthopedic physical therapist assistant and am passionate about my work. I spend my free time with my husband, daughters, grandkids and sister. I like to play mandolin with friends and family, hike and camp.
