This listing was great. We went during Canada Day weekend, so the city was super busy, but this area was far enough away that it provided a quiet and less busy sort of relief during our trip. Nevertheless, the home is close to the subway that takes you straight to downtown, just as advertised. Bloor St also has several shops and restaurants if you don't want to go downtown. The neighborhood is really nice and residential with plenty of free, 24-hr parking spots, which is difficult to find closer in the city.
The room itself was equipped with your basics--a soft bed, a nightstand with lamp, a shelf--and included super-soft towels and extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Since we were in a bungalow, we also had access to the living room, which had a futon and dining table, and the basic kitchen. The bathroom is shared with another occupant in the bungalow, but is very clean and functions well. The entire bungalow is accessed through a private, side door and is located under the main house, which was convenient and also separated us from the host.
The host herself was very kind and accommodating; even when we decided to check in earlier (evening) than we originally said (midnight), she responded to us quickly and was able to check us in. Check out was also very flexible before noon. All of our questions were quickly and easily answered over the app.
The only thing we wished to be added onto the listing was the explanation that the shared washroom was shared with another occupant in the bungalow. We never met the other occupant (they mostly kept to themselves and we would only hear them in the bathroom whenever we were away or in our room), but we would have liked a little mention that we might have encountered someone else in the bungalow.
Also, the door to the bathroom does require some effort to shut close and open, and makes quite a bit of noise to do so, but it wasn't much of an issue.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay with Hang in her bungalow with no real issues, and would definitely stay again.
