I live nearby and usually leave around 8-9 pm. I can usually be found in the store, and am glad to help. I do sometimes get busy with other guests.
Arrival: When you arrive, please check in at the store, which is the first building from the bridge. I am there most of the time until at least 8 pm. If not, using the outdoor phone to call the number posted on the door will probably get me. I might be found after 8 pm by knocking on Cabin 5. I can leave the unit unlocked with a key on the inside doorknob, if necessary. It may help to call and let me know your estimated arrival time. Parking is not legal along the road, but you may stop in front of the cabins to load and unload. You may park in either the riverside lot across the road, or in the lot up the driveway that goes past the store.
Eating: You should bring your own food. People like to grill here. We have several charcoal and propane grills to loan, and propane tanks to rent. (Availability can be limited on weekends, so you may want to bring your own.) You may borrow a Keurig coffee maker for your room. To check out, just leave your key(s) (and towels, if any) in the room. Please note there is no cell service at State Bridge (or within about 7 miles). We do have an "emergency phone" outside the store that you may use, even if it's not an emergency. The bath house has four individual bathrooms, each with a shower. Two have doors on the front, two on the left. Your key will open any of them. The bath house is among the cabins, along Trough Road. It is between cabins 6 and 7.
