The cottage was renovated in 2008 and updated again in the spring of 2013 and provides a nice mix of classic ambiance with modern touches. The interior of the main floor is solid cedar with vaulted ceilings and skylights, with new furniture throughout. The main floor living room features a 54" big screen TV with cable, and a 9' picture window overlooking the water. The lower level has recently been finished to provide a master bedroom, 2 Pc bath, rec room and walkout and this, together with the 3 comfortable bedrooms on the main floor, makes for ample accommodation for eight people. The cottage is fully heated for chilly nights and now equipped with unlimited wireless internet.
Standing in the delightful living room, it's a pleasure to feel the breeze off the lake and enjoy the stunning views. However long you stay here, you will never tire of this outlook! The walkout from the living/dining room brings you to the 400 sq ft flagstone terrace with patio seating for 6; outdoor fireplace; barbeque & lounging area. A private deck to one side features a 6-person hot tub.
The large dock has Muskoka chairs for sitting out and taking in the wonderful water views. A new 96 linear foot dock is a great place to lounge and sunbathe, with a conveniently located swim ladder that makes entry to the water a breeze too. There is also a shallow walk-in entry to the lake for children. Expansive flat grassy lawns provide excellent play space for kids, pets or games. Rounding out this delightful package is a pedal boat, kayak, row boat and canoe to enjoy the waterfront to the fullest. Of course, the fishing is pretty good too and we supply the gear! There is a boat launch one minute away by water.
