Black Bear Cabin is very secluded and located on our 300 acres of private land that borders millions of acres of Lolo National Forest. We have two creeks, two ponds and unlimited room to roam. There are hundreds of miles of hiking and ATV trails just outside your front door. We are on a well maintained road only 2 miles off I-90.
Black Bear Cabin is located approximately 1/4 mile from our private residence and can not be seen from our house. The 140 plus wooded acres on the hill surrounding black Bear Cabin is your private place to explore and enjoy. Bring your ATV toys, snowmobiles, fishing rods and hiking boots to enjoy hundreds and hundreds of miles of very well maintained forest trails, rivers and creeks. Wildlife watching on our property is a sight to behold. On a daily basis you will most likely wake up to elk, whitetail deer, wild turkeys and much more. Parking is available for larger trailers and rigs.

The Cabin has its own private road for access. There is a sign once you reach the end of the driveway which will point you in the right direction toward the cabin.
We respect your privacy and will not intrude on your vacation. But if you're in the mood for conversation please come visit! We can also direct you to local sites and activities this area has to offer.
We are very easy going and really only have 3 rules. Don't burn it down, treat the cabin and land as if it was your own and most importantly....have fun!!!

We welcome all hunters. We border millions of acres of national forest which is a quick easy access to incredible hunting. We do not allow hunting on our property or the butchering of game in the cabin. You are more than welcome to hang and butcher you game outside. It is your responsibility to be aware of, and have all necessary hunting licenses and tags as required by the state of Montana.

We ask that guests are respectful of the land and the animals that live on it and treat Black Bear Cabin as if it was your own. Most importantly, have fun!!!
The 300 acre property that Black Bear Cabin sits on is our home and is approximately 1/4 mile down the hill from Black Bear Cabin. It is not visible from the cabin and we each have complete privacy.
We are here to help if you need anything, but want to allow guests the privacy they need once they settle in.
Come play, hike, ride quads, fish, visit the local attractions or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in this magical region of Western Montana.
Wildlife, including black bear, moose, Canadian geese, mountain lion, white tail deer, elk, coyotes, wolves, wild turkeys, bald eagles and red tail hawk have been seen on our property on a regular basis. Please be aware of your surroundings and keep all food and trash inside the cabin after dusk and when unattended. We also ask that you keep your pet on a leash at all times for its own safety.
