Private rustic cottage on the roof of a building in the East Village with a huge terrace. The house is 2.5 stories high with windows on all sides. This is a very unique place, and I hope you enjoy! Cheers!
There is nothing like this in the East Village: your own private house with a huge private roof-deck on the roof of a building. It is a very unique space with lots of character.
The first floor is a big living room with pressed-tin ceilings, kitchen, and marble bathroom. The sofa opens up into a queen bed.
There are doors in the kitchen that open onto the roof of the building which is a private roof deck, table and chairs for dining outside. Due to weather, the deck closest to the street is closed off, but there is still plenty of room to eat and hang out outside on the deck.
There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The "Yellow Room" has a queen bed, two windows, a large closet, an alcove for a desk, and a full old brick wall. There is track lighting, and the ceiling is made of beautiful old barn wood. "The Blue Room" has a queen bed, dresser, desk, and looks over the huge balcony.
Then if you continue up the staircase, there is another landing with an office space under a huge skylight.
Because there are different levels, you cannot hear other people in the house. If you are on a different floor, you feel as though you are in your own apartment.
- Please keep noise down outside after 12am
- If you smoke, please do so outside and collect cigarette butts
