Sunset Beach - the last barrier reef island in North Carolina - is situated just about half way between Wilmington NC and Myrtle Beach SC. Our house is compact, very clean and just a short walk to the beach. Across the street you'll see Bird Island, a State sanctuary, and Madd Inlet which leads to the Inter-coastal waterway. You're welcome to visit, kayak, hike or just relax and enjoy the quiet. This is a great place to stay if you need some down time before your golf match, want to catch some fish or simply stroll on the beach. We've got the best location for that beach wedding you're attending. Within our home, we have two queen size bedrooms to offer with a private bath between them you'll share and an outdoor shower too -- the best when returning from the beach. If you prefer a single family home for 6-10 people, scroll down to see PEACE & QUIET at Sunset Beach, for a lovely home on the canal, we manage for neighbors.
Business keeps us coming and going, but we're quite grounded here at the beach. Mark is a fun loving, gregarious type who enjoys fishing, golfing, grilling and knows all the right watering holes for whatever strikes your fancy. He's an Uber driver and will be happy to get you wherever you want to go and return you safely home. Janet works out of state often and just wants to make sure Mark and Joey, their dog, don't get too lonely!
We do hope you'll feel welcome to stay a while!
