This bright and airy home is the perfect place for vacationing families. Situated on a canal that leads out to Humboldt Bay with dock access to launch either our kayaks or your own. A short walk to the beach on the bay, lots of birds to watch and a short distance from the freeway access to visit other great places in Humboldt County.
This is a unique location as there are few places where you can get this close to the bay. The house was built in 1950 so it has its quirks but we are remodeling as we can. It has new double pane windows, washer & dryer and a new electric fireplace and updated bathroom. We have an outdoor deck with gas grill and patio furniture to enjoy this unique setting; watching seabirds and listening to the barking of sea lions in the distance. We often see gulls, herons, egrets and sometimes otters and sea lions.
Guests have access to the whole house, a washer and dryer and a storage shed with 2 bicycles and 2 kayaks and fishing poles.
We are a 20 minute drive away, so if there are any issues we can come by to resolve them.
Don't be fooled by the plain façade of this house which hides a gem of a view from the back deck! Peaceful and quiet with bay access for your canoe or kayak.
