A lot of love and elbow grease was put into updating this 90's camper. If you want something a little less typical we think you'll enjoy this.
The camper will sleep four (2 bunks, queen bed) and includes:
• Free parking spot in driveway
• Free wifi
• Free breakfast at 9 am
• Toilet - in camper
• Shower - access in home
• Kitchen with freezer & fridge
• Microwave & Stove (let us know if you'd like to use the stove, it's a little different from a standard stove)
• Sheets and towels
• Yard space
• Ear plugs (train!)
The camper is your private space. You are welcome to enjoy the yard area and shower in our home.
We love hosting and getting to know our guests, but understand some people like to come and go with little interaction. We'll follow your lead on this. We're always happy to assist with sightseeing suggestions and tips.
We are freelancers and summer is a busy time of year for us. If we are home during the day we will likely be sweating it out on home projects or in the yard. Sorry in advance that we will likely look like we just rolled out of bed. We probably did hours ago and haven't had time to get fancy! It's how we stay on top of things around here :)
Our dream is to own a real guest house some day. In the mean time we're plugging away at our little brick craftsman, and backyard garden.
We're generally pretty laid back around here, however we do have a few rules in order to keep things running smoothly. Please let us know you read this section at the time of booking by confirming with our "hidden secret code". See below:
No smoking near the camper. This is a safety issue. Please let us know if you smoke at time of booking and we'll provide an ashtray and point you to a safe area. Please extinguish cigarettes in provided ash tray.
Small gatherings will be allowed on a case by case basis. Please discuss with us at time of booking. No outside guests are permitted on the property aside from those determined at time of booking.
Check in and check out times are firm. We understand travel times may vary, so we are happy to hold your luggage for you if you arrive early or want to stash your stuff after check out, but we can not check you into the camper before 1 pm.
We have a very comfy hammock and lounge chairs in the yard. This isn't to make you wait around. We often have short windows of time to clean and get the space ready. Especially in the summer check in and out times are necessary.
Please use coasters when placing drinks on the tables and counter tops. If something gets spilled, scratched or damaged during your stay please let us know so we can remedy the situation. We understand stuff happens. It's just easier to remedy a broken door, clean a stain etc. prior to another guest checking in.
Please let us know if you will be wanting to shower at a specific time in the morning. While the camper does have running water and a toilet, the shower is in our home. Secret code is 88 keys. For the comfort of our indoor guests we ask that you let know when you will want to shower and time will be reserved first come first serve on the bathroom calk board. This helps us all be aware of each other's schedules and also makes our indoor guests more comfortable as their bedroom is near the shower.
If you do need to shower early in the morning please be considerate of sleeping guests and use your blow dryer in the camper.
Please watch little ones around the raised bed gardens. There could be some nails sticking out of the wood and raspberry thorns hurt. We don't want anyone to get injured or for our plants to be harmed.
Please be mindful of noise, refrain from illegal activities yada yada...
This is a family space :)
