Diego is a responsive host and answers all questions accordingly. The resort is in a great location and hence its popularity and busy traffic. There is a $35 per day valet parking fee and if you want to get a prime spot on the beach you must get there early to use the provided seats and umbrella. In regards to the elevators we only had one long wait but the building only has 4 elevators which is at no fault of the owner. If you request a late check-out please advise the front desk as you could have your key deactivated after 11 a.m. Will come back as it is a family friendly resort and great amenities.
Unit 1206 does not have ocean view unless you have some kind of a jiraffe neck. Never, never came to clean the unit during our stay. Regardless of the many requests and of course, despite their continuous promises and apologies. They simply do not care. Once you book it, that's seems to be the end of your contract. It's would be wise to know ahead of time where you'd be stepping before you agree to stay there. About Hyde: Beautiful building- very modern and very upscale. Delicious empanadas and sandwiches (de miga) at the lobby cafe. Pool food: overpriced. I.e an apple juice is as much as a beer. Average food. Customer service is not part of their mission except for few staff. Particularly at the pool, we had a horrible incident with our credit card. The waiter and the supervisor probably think the walk on water - rudeness, unapologetic and cocky would describe them best. Not sure they know who pays who at a hotel. Be at the beach as early as you can or you will resort fee will be a waste. Beware of waits at elevators and valet! Will never return to Hyde. Series of unfortunate events, where there is no value for your money- way too many beautiful and great customer service hotels to just waste your time and money (and for sure you patience) at Hyde.
