A beautiful, high-end townhouse located on a residential street close to all the action of South Yarra. Relax in comfort in front of the fireplace, cook up a storm in the huge, fully-equipped kitchen and enjoy a wine in the sun on the private patio.

This quiet and peaceful townhouse is packed with all the comforts of home, yet located close to all the action of South Yarra and Prahran.

Only 400 meters from the route 72 tram (which takes you right through the city to Carlton, via St Kilda Road and Swanston Street), and just a short walk from Prahran train station, this location is so convenient. You’ll also find supermarkets, fresh food, shopping, bars, cafes and restaurants in all directions.

Everything you need for your short stay (including free high-speed wifi, heating/cooling in every room, a gas fireplace, private outdoor area and parking) is available within this secure, well-equipped property.

Bedrooms:
Both upstairs bedrooms are huge and fitted with comfy queen size beds topped with hotel quality linens which we professionally clean after every stay. Both have split system heating and air conditioning.

Both bedrooms are flooded with natural light and have heaps of wardrobe and storage space with room to store your luggage.

Living Room:
Relax on the comfortable couch in front of the large TV and gas fireplace, or sit and chat around the eight-seater dining table. We have heaps of books and a record player so you’ll never run out of things to do!

Kitchen:
Our fully-equipped kitchen includes an oven, gas cook top, lots of cooking utensils, appliances (microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster), a fridge and basic pantry supplies (in case you need a break from Melbourne’s amazing cafes and restaurants).

Patio:
Enjoy a drink in the sun on the private patio, perfect for alfresco dining.

Bathrooms:
Both bathrooms are modern, spacious and well-lit. We have stocked the bathrooms with all the necessary toiletries, including Thankyou body wash and Australian-made, earth friendly Sukin shampoo and conditioner. You’ll also find Thankyou hand wash, Who Gives A Crap toilet paper and a hair dryer.

There is also a separate powder room downstairs.

Laundry:
Inside the bathroom is a washing machine and dryer (we also provide a clothes drying rack, an iron and an ironing board). Earth Choice laundry liquid is available so you can catch up on your laundry before you head home.

Parking:
The apartment comes with an undercover parking space for one car. Please note, the parking space can be a little tight and may not be suitable for larger cars / SUVs.

We know this beautiful listings looks like it might be a good party destination, but we are under STRICT INSTRUCTIONS from the owner of this property to stop this from occurring.

We have a close relationship with the neighbours, who get in touch with us immediately if there is any evidence of gatherings over the maximum 4 guests (as per the listing description) after 10pm.

This is an awesome place to stay for families, couples or small groups, but if you are thinking of having a party, this won't be the right listing for you. Breaching this rule will result in immediate eviction and loss of security deposit.

PARKING
The apartment comes with an undercover parking space for one car, but please note, the parking space can be a little tight and may not be suitable for larger cars / SUV's.

DISCOUNTS:
We provide the following discounts:
- 10% for stays longer than 7 nights
- 20% for stays longer than 28 nights

This discount is automatically applied to the booking price displayed by Airbnb. Unfortunately we cannot provide any further discount.

ADDITIONAL RULES:
1) Please treat your apartment like your grandma’s! Strictly no parties and no smoking inside.

2) Please leave your apartment tidy and don’t throw anything from the balcony. Place things back where you found them.

3) Communicate any issues you have as soon as you become aware of them so we can lend a helping hand.

Spacious house in handy location for prahran market (foody heaven) and all the restaurants on chapel street. Access the cbd via bus tram or train, then come home to enjoy lots of home comforts, like the gas fire!

We had a great stay here. The location is very convenient being close to everything you may need- cafes, markets, public transport, night life, dining, and more! The house has a great floor plan and lots of space and storage to enjoy! The car port was problematic as it is SO small we couldn't even open our car doors to get out once pulled in. The hosts were very helpful and quick to problem solve and sort out any issues we had during our stay. Overall- we would definitely consider booking here again in the future!

Lots of good things to say about 60 Argo street. Fantastic location, quiet, large living spaces and bedrooms, excellent kitchen, beautiful firm beds, good bathrooms, amazing space heating, nice decor, and generally well equipped. The agency looking after the property is responsive and helpful. Main issue we had was with parking. The undercover parking space was narrow and with a one ton truck parked across the street after hours it is very difficult to get a moderate size SUV into it. The parking permit for on-street parking was missing but even having a permit would present some challenges as street parking is in very high demand in the area. If the parking problem could be fixed somehow we would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Solis. For a few nights we had 4 adults and one toddler stay, and there was plenty of space for us all. The separate kitchen and dining/living room were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms upstairs were spacious with comfy beds and loads of storage. The appliances are all of a high standard and are easy to use. The townhouse is only a couple of minutes walk from 2 parks for kids to stay entertained and less than 10mins from Faulkner Park. It was a perfect distance from The Alfred (less than 10min walk). Chapel St is less than 10mins walk as is the Prahran market and main supermarkets. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The only thing to consider is the carport if you need 2 car parks. It's quite narrow so it would be difficult to park medium to large vehicles in. Street parking is easy to find out the front though. Public transport is accessible at the end of the street which is really convenient. We would definitely stay again.
