A one bedroom apartment located on the first floor of an 1860's brick federal townhouse, this property has incredible natural light and direct sunlight that pour through the nearly 8' windows into the bedroom and living area in the morning. With 11' ceilings, this apartment has an airy, yet cozy feel. Located in Portland's historic West End, it's within very close walking distance to some fantastic coffee shops and restaurants, and the center of town is also only a walk away.
I love the space as it has great bones with some early period details such as moldings. It's sparsely decorated at the moment so please have a little patience as I bring it up to speed.
I typically won't be available as I open up my apartment for when I am traveling. If I do happen to be around I'm happy to make myself available and offer tips on where to go.
DO NOT TOUCH THE CARIBOU
I'm a born and bred Mainer who spent most of the past decade living between New York City and Boston with some shorter stints overseas. Having been back a couple of years I try to take advantage of the great concerts Portland puts on and get outdoors as much as I can- skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and boating/sailing, swimming, running, hiking, and camping in the summer. I'm a foodie, but you'll never catch me taking pictures of my food, more into good wine and spirits than craft beer (I know, that's considered blasphemy in Portland), and always enjoy a lighthearted debate on any topic while consuming vast quantities of the former. I Airbnb my place while out of town, but in the event that I'm around I enjoy playing host. I've done a good deal of exploring and found some pretty cool secret spots around greater Portland and will be happy to show you around if I like you enough.
