Come and stay in this luminous cabin surrounded by pristine nature, within the complex that houses the Campos de Gutiérrez Foundation, an arts organisation where you can take a ceramics class or get to know the Medellin art scene. We are located just 30 minutes away from Medellín’s City Center.
Our cabin was built with love based on previos versions of the same setup. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a mezzanine with a single bed and some extra mattresses for additional guests or kids. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a washer and you normally will get away with hanging your clothes to dry, otherwise you can use the dryer in the main building; the cabin is connected to a larger complex that includes the original building from the nineteenth century that you will be able to visit at any moment as one of our guests. Wifi is available at the main building and you may go there to use it at any point.
You can learn more about the main building here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18395273?location=Medell%C3%ADn%2C%20Antioquia&s=PFwLFfyv
You will have the cabin to yourself plus 10 hectares of land to explore. You'll also have access to the common areas of the main historic building.
I am an artist and founder at the Campos de Gutiérrez Foundation, co-funder of the Maati Ceramics Studio. Originally from Colombia, I’ve spent a significant 11 years of my life abroad, mostly in the United States and also in Korea. Since 2011, I have had the amazing privilege of hosting many international artists through the Campos de Gutiérrez Residency Program in my family’s historic property. Now that the project has grown and we have cabins available, I am looking forward to hosting anyone who is passionate about history, Medellin, nature, art, ceramics, or anything else that we might be able to offer in our homestead.
