The area boasts many historic features and beautiful beaches.
My home is a small, traditional thatched cottage built from stone and lime, which has been occupied by my family for more than four generations. It has been modernised over the years, but is still very basic.
I have a small flock of hens and a vegetable garden.
If you sing or play an instrument, I would enjoy the entertainment!
At Fawn Gardens, you can enjoy getting back to basics. This house has changed over the centuries, and so it's an eclectic mix of the old and the not so old, with some modern additions.
You can crop your own lunch from the garden, or enjoy a boiled egg for breakfast, freshly laid by one of the hens outside!
As your host, I would hope that you can enjoy the experience of staying in my home rather than looking on it as just another place to stay.
As a guest, you can have full access to the kitchen and bathroom, enjoy sitting by a turf fire in your own bedroom or with me in the living room. There is no TV in your room, but we do have WiFi.
There is a selection of local books and publications available for you to read.
I will be happy to give you information on all aspects of local entertainment, historical sites and amenities. Just ask!
A continental style breakfast buffet is available including a selection of cereals, porridge, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit.
Fawn Gardens has a resident Rooster! If you think he may interrupt your sleep I can provide ear plugs.
- No smoking in bedroom, but may be permitted in the kitchen if all parties agree.
