Our farm in Exmoor National Park has direct access to the moors and Dark Skies. The River Heddon runs through this private sunny valley surrounded by woods and pastures. It is a short drive to Lynton & Lynmouth and the Coastal Walk. A footpath leads to the village of Parracombe.
This traditional farmhouse is restored in fresh honest finishes, like lime plaster walls and polished concrete floors, timber windows and slate cills. Relaxed and comfortable, just what you need after a day exploring!
This cob and stone farmhouse has been lovingly restored by ourselves and just completed this Spring. Restrained and contemporary, with large spacious rooms, underfloor heating and farmhouse kitchen with Aga. There are two big sittings rooms and a wood burning stove too. The bedrooms are two doubles and a twin. The two bathrooms have large showers and one has a bath too.
It is perfect for a family or group of friends to relax, cook, socialise and celebrate. Make it your own country home this autumn! - Escape for Half Term or gather for a magic Christmas and New Year.
Be inspired to paint, draw and photograph. Walk out right into the landscape!
Whole house and garden, except one room on the ground floor is locked as a storeroom. The laundry at the rear is shared.
We will welcome you on arrival. You can contact us anytime for local advice.
This is a small working farm.
I am an architect and have lived and worked in the UK and Australia. My husband John and I love cities but choose to live in the wide open green space of Exmoor. We travel whenever we can, recently across the Pyrenees and up to the Alps on a motorbike.
