I think I have to give proper information to future guests, I was considered a host who did not listen to the problems of their guests, it's not true. I think to be an available, careful and clear host.
1 The noise in the square such as the presence of unauthorized parkers are commons problems in the historical centers of big cities, even if occasional, external to the accommodation and unmanageable by any owner. Also I can not even change the municipal ordinances for the collection of urban waste at night.
2 The “so-called” ZTL is an area of the historical center established by the municipality where to pass or to stay with the car is obligatory the use of pass as in all Italy. This too, like waste collection, is not a my invention.
3 The method of countering unauthorized activities and possible vandalism exists and it consists of denouncing to law enforcement. I made myself available to accompany the guest to make a complaint, if he had suffered any damage, but he refused.
4 It is not true that there is no Wi-Fi in the flat. The guest has exhausted all the credit at his disposal using several GB.
I have satisfied also the guest requests in various ways:
- going on site to check the parking situation,
- offering better accommodation to the guest that was refused because: “the flat is very comfortable...”,
- accepting his request to anticipate the check-in time,
- a further discount on booking at guest request who said he had a very limited budget,
- providing all the necessary information.
I remind to the guest the sentence he pronounced when he left the flat against this beautiful and hospitable city: ”I hate Palermo and I will never come back here...”
I remain always available for future guests to provide clarifications and useful tips for their stay.
