Spacious and bright 3 ½ apartment (1 bedroom) with plenty of sunlight in a very central location in downtown Montreal: on St. Marc between St. Catherine & De Maisonneuve.
It has a very nice feature: A sound-insulating panel partition opens and closes so it can separate one part of the living room from the rest of the apartment (please refer to pictures), creating an ideal space for a musician who wants to practice in a sound insulated area, or it can be also an ideal space for working /studying.

I am currently outside of Canada but my good friend Tareq who lives in the same building will be handling all details on my behalf while I'm gone. His number is the one listed as the contact number.
The apartment is currently available from the period between June 18th and June 29th.
I'm an Egyptian/Canadian professional musician/architect. I'm tidy, punctual, respectful, and friendly. I left a promising career in architecture to move from Cairo to Montreal to pursue music professionally.
I can't live without music, the sea, good food, good company, and Frisbee. Some of the places I enjoyed traveling to are Sinai, the Bahamas, Beirut, Scotland, and Paris. Some of the books I read are: Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, The Alchemist, a few novels by Najib Mahfouz and Alaa Al Aswany. Some of my favorite movies are Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, The Pink Panther films, Tarantino films, and many many Egyptian films. Some of my favorite shows include Family Guy, South Park, Frasier, Game of Thrones, and many more. I'm a big musical chameleon but my roots are strong in different types of rock music, jazz, Arabic, middle eastern and world fusion. Some of my favorite cuisines include Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese, Indian, Italian, French, Mauritanian, Moroccan, Iraqi, Turkish, Iranian, and the list goes on and on.
Ever since I moved to Montreal I’ve been living in the same apartment since 2007 and at this point I’ve turned it into my home in Montreal. Since I travel a lot between Montreal and Cairo, I have someone sublet it while I’m in Cairo. I’ve had people sublet the apartment many times and they always enjoy their stay thanks to the cozy setting that I’ve created in the apartment over the years and thanks to the apartment’s prime and central location in the downtown area of Montreal.
