We enjoyed being Sergio's first guests at this newly built apartment building. The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a brand new mattress, loads of closet space, fast internet and windows opening into a courtyard (so no road noise). While not ensuite, there is a spotless bathroom next to the bedroom that Sergio has designated for his guests' private use, plenty of soft towels and bar soap provided. Sergio was pleasant and accommodating and communication was excellent. The location worked well for us as I was there to shop at the Ciudadela Artisans Market, a short walk away. I cannot comment on public transportation for travel to the historic center or to Roma/Condesa, though I believe there was a metro stop several blocks away and Uber works very well in Mexico City. Sergio recommends using Uber rather than walking when coming back to the apartment after dark, and that was fine for us. While the apartment is on a street with few restaurants and many auto shops, there are two great places right nearby: an excellent little cafe for coffee and trendy eats like avocado toast, and a cervecería that hasn't changed in 70 years. Do stop in for an old school beer and soak up the atmosphere. Sergio's place is a fine value and we would stay there again.
