Our home is on one level - perfect for a family with small children or elderly guests. (Please note that there are four steps from the patio down to the pool, jetty, and lawn area alongside the canal waterway.) Featuring a fully fenced yard the outdoor space is perfect for children's play.
We cater to all - families, singles, business travellers.
The home consists of 4 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, each with both a bath & separate shower. There is a separate toilet beside the Family Bathroom.
Family Getaway accommodates 8 guests in existing bedding, but we can also accommodate 2 additional guests utilising rollaway beds (at an extra cost). The rollaway beds could be placed in Bedroom 1 or in one of the two living areas as there is plenty of room. Bedroom configurations can all be changed from 1 x King to 2 x singles if required, and advised at time of booking.
A huge main air-conditioned Living Room features cathedral ceilings and is furnished with comfortable leather sofas and a large comfy armchair. Large 66 inch television connected to Foxtel, Netflix and a DVD.
For your added enjoyment we also have a pool table. Have a "family challenge".
There is a separate open plan Living/Dining & Kitchen area. This large area is equipped with air conditioning & fans making it lovely and cool in the Gold Coast summer. There is a free to air television mounted on the wall which can be viewed from both the dining table,the living area and kitchen.
Your kitchen is fully fitted out with a Pod coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave & hotplates. All crockery and cutlery is provided, including a slow cooker, sandwich press, blender (for your cocktails), plus plenty of bakeware and plastic. (We ask that you use our provided outdoor plasticware when by the pool). A full size fridge/freezer (including ice-maker), welcome pack of coffee pods, sugar and milk supplied on arrival.
We provide plenty of board & other games for the family to enjoy together.
The dining table has seating for 8 and there are 4 stools adjacent at the kitchen bench.
We believe the greatest feature of our home is the enormous covered patio overlooking the canal waterway, pool, jetty and grassed area. This area is equipped with a large dining table, sofas and two ceiling fans for your comfort. We spent the vast majority of our time outside enjoying this area and it is our "go-to" entertainment area. We have equipped this area with quality, pull down, outdoor, sun protection blinds. The area also features a 7 burner gas BBQ, (2 gas bottles supplied). It's a great space with lots of room for all the family to enjoy.
Bedroom 1 is a very large and comfortable space with a King bed (can also be configured as two long single beds), bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe with hanging space for your clothes. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan for your comfort. This room has a large, modern, newly renovated ensuite with a bath and separate shower as well as a double vanity.
Bedroom 2 is set up to accommodate two guests with a King bed (or two long singles). Ceiling fan for your comfort.
Bedroom 3 is set up to accommodate two guests with a King bed (or two long singles). Ceiling fan for your comfort.
Bedroom 4 is set up to accommodate two guests with a King bed (or two long singles). Ceiling fan for your comfort.
We will also accommodate infants under 2 by arrangement. You will need to message us to discuss your needs prior to booking as extra charges will apply.
The Family Bathroom has a separate bath and shower. There is a separate toilet.
The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and the clothes dryer & has a exterior door to the outside clothes line.
The interior walls are freshly painted and has just been partially re-furnished and accessorised so is fresh and spotlessly clean.
For those with little ones the property is fully fenced with lots of space for the kids to play.
Guests have access to the entire home except for the double garage. There is plenty of off street parking on the driveway for at least three cars and even a boat can be accommodated beside the garage.
Our aim is to personally greet you on your arrival. If this is not possible we will speak to you to give you access details.
Our home is private & tranquil retreat where you can relax outside on the covered patio overlooking the wide waterway, fish from the floating pontoon, lay on a sun lounge by the sparkling pool, while kids are entertained on the grassy garden area.
We are always contactable via the airbnb messaging or text message or call us if you need anything during your stay.
Parking: Plenty of off street parking, even room for a boat. Please note there is no access to the garage. Please refrain from parking on the grass.
We can give you beach towels, outdoor chairs, beach umbrella, esky/cooler bag and a picnic basket/rug if you want to have a day at the beach, do a sunset on the beachfront or just a picnic at the many parks and lookouts on the Gold Coast. Just ask us about what you need for your day out to see if we can help.

We do not accept bookings from "schoolies", or large groups of young singles. This holiday house is not suitable for functions of any kind. It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to use any holiday house on the Gold Coast as a party house. Standard house rules and a bond apply - please look after everything as you would your own home. No smoking inside the house at all.
CHECK IN TIME: 3pm however we try to be flexible with our Check in Time. We will make every attempt to work around your plans. We aim to personally check in all our Guests so please discuss your plans with us when making your booking.
CHECK OUT TIME: Strictly 10am.
SAME DAY BOOKINGS:
We will make every effort to accommodate same day bookings but cannot always guarantee a 3pm Check in.
Please turn off Air Con, lights and fans before going out. Ensure that doors and windows are closed while using air conditioners. Also please make sure the windows are closed when going out as they can be hit by rain and winds particularly when summer storms are about.
Our home is not a party house. Parties are not permitted. We appreciate that you may have friends visiting during your stay, however these are not to number more than 4 at any one time.
Visitors must not remain in the home overnight.
We just ask that you treat our newly refurbished home as you would your own home.
