Stratos was away, so his father, Nicholas greeted us, including going above and beyond by meeting us at the airport and helping us carry our giant bags through the streets in town. Nicholas and his wife, Anna, could not have been lovelier and more accommodating. They made us feel like we were visiting family.
The house was just wonderful and perfect for two girlfriends traveling together. It was simply furnished, as most Myconian homes, but we had everything we needed, including 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and clean linens, 2 baths, plenty of storage space, a lovely living space, a functional kitchen (which we never really used), a lovely roof to sit out and drink wine and look over the town, and even a washer just in case we needed to do laundry. There were little things too, like a hair dryer and iron. Nicholas even left us a packet of 6 large waters, and some food in the refrigerator for breakfast. So kind!
The house was absolutely spotless and we had a cleaning lady come in every 3 days, which was perfect.
The location truly can't be beat. It is about 1/2 a block from all the shops, nightlife, and restaurants, yet on a very quiet street, where you can hear a pin drop at any point during the day or night. As a Mykonos veteran (this was my 19th trip there), I can tell you that this was one of the best locations you can hope for.
In closing, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the house and our host. We had contacted him on a number of occasions and he was always quick to get back to us and super helpful. In one word, perfect! I would (and will) stay there again in a heartbeat.
Thank you, Nicholas!!! <3
