Lovely apartment in the real center of Paris. The Montorgueil area is the most famous place in paris for leaving without car in the street.
5 bakers in the street, 4 market shop, 15 bars and restaurants.

My apartment is in a pedestrian area without cars in the real center of paris.
The apartment is really quiet and everything is homemade by an architect.
A nice living room with a big TV and good audio where you can plug any iPhone.
A nice kitchen with a big tove and everything for cooking.
WIFI with optical fiber who give the most quickly signal.
A washing machine with a dryer.
A cocooning bedroom with a 140cm bed for two peoples. A fan just above the bed.
A bathroom with a shower and WC, hair dryer.
The place is near everyplace, 10 minutes by bicycle from the Champs-elysees, 10 minutes by Bicycle from saint germain des pres, 5 minutes by bicycle from the marais.
There are 5 metro station around the apartment and the nearest station is at 1 minute to walk from the apartment.

The apartment is on the 5th floor without an elevator!!!!

You will be far from nothing. You can walk to the louvre, to the River, to Notre Dame, everything is close because you will be in the center.

I can inform you about everything in Paris, the best place to be.

Extremely disappointed in this AirBNB. I do not like giving negative reviews - but this was by far our worst experience. My wife and I spent several nights in the apartment, and we would have cancelled and re-booked somewhere else had we not had a tight itinerary within and around Paris. The critical issue was cleanliness, and more specifically, there was dog hair all over the apartment, even on the bed cover. The first day I walked through the apartment and my socks were covered in dog hair. My wife and I both developed allergies the entire time we were physically in the apartment to the point where we had to take antihistamines in order to breathe well enough to sleep. Luckily, the only time we spent in the apartment was sleeping. In addition to the dog hair, the apartment was not clean. There is a layer of dust on just about everything - it doesn't look like the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. There is also a lot of stuff (papers, books, etc.) haphazardly strewn through the apartment. I took several photos of the hair and the dust. Other than the cleanliness issue, the apartment is in a good, central location. We did not have any issues with Laurent directly (the key was left in a lockbox, so we did not have any direct interaction). If the apartment had been clean, we would have left the apartment with 3.5-4.0 stars - mostly due to the location - but the cleanliness issue is inexcusable.

Nice flat and host was very diligent. Would stay there again!

The best thing about this place is the location - just half a block from Montorgueil with it's cafe's, restaurants, bakeries, butchers, cheese shops, etc. You're a 10 minute walk from the Mariais with lots of great galleries, unusual clothing stores, etc. In the apartment there are many artful furnishings and fixtures that add to the Parisian experience. The place is well stocked with everything you could want, including in the kitchen. And it really helped to have the washer/dryer. Laurent always responded immediately and helpfully to e-mails. There are actually two beds to choose from, which is nice. It is listed - but in case you miss it, the apartment is five stories up and there's no elevator. That's great for working off all the good food nearby. My only negative feedback concerns the dust in the bedding and the mold in the towels - if you're asthmatic you should stay somewhere else.
Dust in the bedding and the mold in the towels ????? The bedding and the towels were cleaning 7h before you arrived. Mold is coming with the humidity and now it's 30 °c in Paris !!!! If you had asthma problems go to sleep outdoor in the mountains but don't tell stupid things about my apartment. Strange that you are the only one that saying this.

Laurent was very attentive, helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues. He was there when I arrived and helped carry luggage up the many flights of stairs!! The bedroom was small but charming. The bed was very comfortable and it was so nice to sleep with the window open. It was very quiet! The small bathroom was a challenge and there was not much space to keep our things other than in our suitcases. The neighborhood was wonderful and the perfect area to stay!

Our trip was amazing and we very highly recommend Laurent's apartment. First and foremost, as a host, Laurent is fantastic. We booked this vacation very last minute, so I was concerned about any possible lapse of time communicating with potential hosts. But that was not an issue at all with him. All of our messages/questions were always responded to within a hour or so... Most of them immediately. Also, our arrival was delayed by a couple of hours due to the train strike and Laurent happily stayed until we arrived at his place. He met us outside to help carry the bags up, which was a very nice gesture considering the train ride we had just endured. Side note: If you arrive into Paris and learn that they are experiencing a train strike... Take a taxi! Trust us!! Most lovely about this apartment is the location... You really can't beat it in our opinion. It's set within the cobblestone streets of the beautiful Rue Montorgueil, which is lined with restaurants, cafés, bakeries (actually, the oldest bakery in Paris which is considered a historical site is about a 30 second walk from your front door), produce stands, flower markets and great boutiques. It is also within walking distance to the Louvre, Palais-Royal Gardens (great place for a picnic), Notre Dame and fantastic shopping in the 3rd and 4th districts. The train station is very close and it's a quick and easy ride to St Germain, Eiffel Tower, etc. If you want to visit all of the touristy locations while in Paris, yet stay in a more beautiful and authentic neighborhood, this is a great choice. The apartment is just as described and depicted in the photos. We really enjoyed the living room and found the bedroom to be nice and cozy. There isn't a lot of storage space but we tend to keep our things in our suitcases and remove outfits as needed... Which worked out fine considering that this apartment comes with the world's best steamer ever! Seriously, it really is. We just hung up our outfits for the day and steamed them for about 30 seconds and they were completely wrinkle free. Loved loved loved that steamer! The only thing I would consider when booking would be if a very large man was looking to stay here, the bathroom is quite small and we think that a much larger person might find it unpleasant to navigate. Other than that, it's updated and beautiful! Enjoy your stay in Paris!
Hi, thank you Jason, it will be a pleasur to see you again :-)

Laurent was wonderful and met us promptly when we arrived at the building. The five flight walk up did not intimidate us in the least. as we are in our 50's and in great shape. However, the stairs are a bit challenging for American size feet and the spiral was a bit of a challenge. I counted 100 steps spirally up! Think small. The apartment is perfect for two people. The bedroom is just that, a room with a big bed. Comfortable with a ceiling fan if needed but the open window provide sufficient air flow. Kitchen was functional, living room was nice to relax in with a glass of wine before heading out for the night. Only comments and not at all complaints, the bath room is tiny. We are not big people but our knees were touching the wall when using the toilet. (5'7-5'11")

Super Accueil ! Je recommande...
