This spacious one room converted studio in Friedrichshain - one of the most popular and exciting districts in Berlin - has been completely renovated in autumn 2013.
The apartment has LTE internet which is very fast as well as a new kitchen, new bathroom with shower as well as lots of other smaller homey touches which you will see when you get there!
The Schreinerstrasse is a relaxed side street where locals like to live themselves. There are young families and creative people as well as a few Berliners who have lived there their whole lives! A great mix of cute restaurants and shops, bakeries for breakfast, organic food shops...typical Berlin really!
The Samariterstrasse Ubahn brings you to Alexanderplatz in a short time and from here you can travel all over the city. Frankfurter Allee is a famous street (with DDR era history and architecture) only 5 minutes walk away which also has an Sbahn station. With the ring bahn from here you can do a circumferential tour of the city for the price of a normal train ticket! Worth a go for 2.60EUR :-)
If you need any advice on what to do and where to go I am here to help and glad to share a few regular haunts of mine in the area...
I am sure you will also love the apartment and area as much as I do!
Hi there! I'm originally from the beautiful garden of England (to be precise, a county called Kent) but have long since wandered far and wide from the British nest after finishing my veterinary BVSc in 2007....
....after living and working in Nice, Shanghai, Hawaii and other such fascinating destinations (working with start ups and blossoming companies), I stumbled accidentally across Germany's glorious capital city. I knew then that nowhere on earth could beat this city's electric vibe...and so here I have stayed!
I am sure you will love Berlin and the district of Friedrichshain where my apartment is. Viel spaß!!!
