Welcome to Moab! Our property is located right off of highway 191 and right on the road to Ken's Lake and the Steelbender trail. We are 5 minutes South of downtown and 11 minutes from the entrance to Arches! Inside are 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom, and a big main room. We are currently remodeling, waiting for power and water. The home is nice, but power is by generator and water is provided in jugs for flushing toilets and sinks. Bring your own bedding as well. Read "the space" for details!
Welcome to Moab! Our property is conveniently located right off of highway 191 and right on the road to Ken's Lake and the Steelbender trail. We are 5 minutes South of downtown and 11 minutes from the entrance to Arches! Inside we have 2 separate bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, and the other with an inflatable queen mattress. The main room is wide open and could fit as many air mattresses as you could possibly want! We don't have bedding yet (coming soon) so you will need your own blankets, sheets, towels and pillows. Currently, there is no kitchen (also coming soon!), just a small cooler for you to use. We have a dining table with chairs, a foosball table, bike rack, couch and tv with some side tables. Our home is now in the process of getting power and water connected. At present, power is provided via a Honda 2000 generator that runs very quiet and is easy to start and operate. The generator will be filled with gas and a gas can will be provided so you can get more if needed. It will run for several hours on a full tank. We've run extension cords with power strips to run the lamps, a small space heater, and other devices. The cord just needs to be plugged into the side of the generator. You will need to run the generator to use the tv or to inflate the air mattress. The generator must be placed outside when running! There is a small goal zero battery you can use for plugging the tv into, a light, or for charging a device. The toilets and sinks are connected and working; just add water! We have some 5 gallon jugs on site for your use. To flush the toilets, pour water into the toilet tank. For showers, we will pay for you to go to the KOA right up the road. Our floor plan is very open and friendly to mountain bikers who want to bring their bikes inside and guests who have trailers they want to park or keep attached to their vehicle. We understand that the linen, power, and water situation are far from ideal, but it's a furnished place to stay in a busy town! Please keep in mind that it is a work in progress!
Everything on property! The second bathroom is being used as a supplies closet. We recommend keeping it closed or even locking it to keep kids out.
I am typically available 24/7 via phone or text. I do not live on property, but have many people on call to help with any needs you may have.
Our place is really all by itself! You can be as loud as you want! Our lot is open and perfect for parking trailer rigs without having to unhitch. Please try to stay on the gravels and off the softer dirt and don't park on the sides of the building. Absolutely no smoking or pets inside! Please, do your best to keep any mud out whether it's shoes or bikes. Lastly, the generator, camp chairs, goal zero items, and all other household items are for use on the property only! Please do not take them to use anywhere else! Please keep the generator inside when not at the property. Have fun!
