A cosy, charming house that is welcoming and comfortable. There is a lovely rural feel to the house whilst it is situated in a small town and handy to amenities. Tastefully furnished living areas include a spacious new fitted kitchen/dining room with modern appliances. The small garden provides a sheltered and private outdoor space. The view from the east facing windows is straight onto the Alyth Burn, childrens' play park and local shops are easily accessed in minutes.
The house is full of vintage charm. It is over 200 years old and we have tried to keep much of the original charm whilst updating it to be comfortable for 21st century relaxing. There is space for 8 people as long as you are happy to occasionally queue for access to the single bathroom.
The kitchen is perfect for sociable evenings and the living room has ample space for stretching out after a long walk.
The garden is still a work in progress, so early in 2017 it will be growing a new lawn. We are offering a discounted rate until the garden is fully up to speed.
The ambience in the house is peaceful and it works its charming personality on all who stay. There are shabby chic elements. The bedroom floors are uneven with various surfaces. Slippers are recommended.
