Cherry and her family were very friendly and made me feel very welcome in their home. Use of kitchen and bathrooms was easy, and both were very clean. The room is spacious with a big and comfortable bed. The house is near to the main street with plenty of shops and not far from Dovercourt train station. The seaside is just 3 minutes walk away. I was staying for almost 3 weeks, and the only downside was that I did not have a key though there was always somebody at home to open the door.
This was my first airbnb experience and it went very well. The lovely Cherry was my host and she was as sweet as her name. I arrived/ checked in quite late which was no problem. The room and house were clean and spacious. I was made to feel welcome and at ease coming and going, accessing the kitchen and bathrooms, and had the option of playing a little snooker in the games room if I wanted. The location was nice, central in town but quiet, with a high st at one end of the road and the sand (ok pebbles) and sea at the other. A continental breakfast was on offer for a few pounds but as I had the ingredients for a full English with me, the delectable Cherry made me an amazing full breakfast, and toast with a cup of tea which set me up for my voyage splendidly. Also when I check d out it was early which didn't hinder my fine breakfast, and to top it off, my wonderful host offered to taxi me to my departing port (yes I was taking a boat from the docks)! My overall experience was stress free and enjoyable, thanks to Cherry and her family!
