Maggi's flat was just as I expected. The room had a single bed, but was a good size. There was a small problem with the toilet but Maggi fixed it within an hour or two. The kitchen is small but big enough to do any cooking you might want to do, and there is plenty of shelf space and room in the fridge freezer to store food. The shower was easy to use and the shower room was clean and tidy. There was initially a slight misunderstanding with the keys, but it was quickly resolved. I spent a lot of time in George Square for the Edinburgh Festival, and once Maggi helped me out with a map and advise on the local transport it was very easy to get to the city, about half an hour to walk, or no more than £7 one way if you want to take a taxi. Maggi was very friendly and happy to help or answer any questions I had, and was always happy to chat if you wanted to. She's polite and genuine, and I would definitely recommend her if you are looking to stay in Edinburgh for a while.
Maggi was a warm and helpful host. She was easy to communicate with and her place was central to town. I used to live in Edinburgh but I know that the location, the apartment and Maggi would be a great for someone if it was their first trip to Edinburgh. I highly recommend staying at Maggi's place.
