The place is in a wonderful position, very close to Capri' s "piazzetta". A bit too small for two people, big garden with a table but the lack of a kitchen makes the whole BnB experience less comfortable. Air conditioning is missing, which means that in a small dependance with only a fan we sometimes had a hard time coping with the heat. Mr Tonino, who takes care of the guests, has always made sure we had everything we needed.
Location couldn't be better! Just steps away from Beautiful shops, restaurants and the famous Piccola Beach. My husband and I stayed in the in-law cottage. The cottage had two twin beds, a private shower/bathroom, and patio with view. We traveled from US to Naples and took the ferry to Capri. The ferry was an hour commute and cost us $40 USD. Once we arrived in the Grande Marina, there were taxis waiting by. We took a taxi ($20USD) to the top of the island to Capri and met with the grounds keeper who escorted us to the cottage. While on the island we could walk to most places, however, when we needed to go back to the main marina we would take the bus vs. taxi. The bus was easy and fast and cheap. Don't forget to spend a day at the famous and stunning Piccola beach! It's a short walk from the cottage. We did the island boat tour of the Blue Grotto. Take note--once you arrive at the Blue Grotto you have to pay 12USD plus tip to enter by rowboat into the Grotto . It's extremely busy and I would suggest going first thing in the morning or at 3pm when it does down. It can be a multi-hour wait. Have a fantastic trip!!
Th location is great however no real value for money. I was aware that it would be a small place with nearly zero facilities. Although not advertised the little house offers a fan which is very welcome in the summer however the windows have no blinds and it is extremely bright at early hours. Lovely terrace. Price a bit high for what it is.
