Welcome to Navigli Style, a typical old Milano apartment in the most lively and liveable area of Milano. Porta Ticinese, the Darsena, the Navigli a few steps away; a 15 minutes walk, and you'll be in the shopping district and Piazza del Duomo.
Fashion, Design, universities, culture and shopping, everything very close or easily accessible by public transportation.
The flat is cozy, lively, luminous and fully equipped for a nice stay.
We hope you'll enjoy it!
Elisabetta and Roberto
Three are the peculiarities of the flat: first of all it is very quiet, considering that it is in the center of the liveliest district of Milano. Secondly, there is a lot of light (it is facing East/West). Last but not least, it is full of books; they narrate the life of a person who travelled a lot and is full of interests.
It is very simple to get to the apartment; it is two minutes' walk from Porta Ticinese, a major landmark in Milano.
A few words on how to get here with public transportation:
If you come from Stazione Centrale (the main train station): take the #9 tram at the terminus on the side of the train station; get off in Piazza XXIV Maggio (Porta Ticinese) and walk to the apartment.
In alternative: take the subway, #2 green line, direction Assago/Abbiategrasso, to Porta Genova Station; in Porta Genova square take the #9 tram at the terminus, and get off in Piazza XXIV Maggio, three stops away.
From Duomo (center of the city): #3 or #15 tram (terminus of both lines a couple of blocks from Duomo).
From Cadorna station (end stop of Malpensa Express, the train from Malpensa Airport): either a taxi (it’s a very short drive), or #94 bus to Colonne di San Lorenzo; then 10 minutes’ walk to Piazza XXIV Maggio/Via Pietro Custodi, or #3 tram to Piazza XXIV Maggio (one stop). You can also take the #2 green line subway (downstairs from the Station), direction Assago/Abbiategrasso, get off at Porta Genova Station, take the #9 tram to Piazza XXIV Maggio.
From Linate Airport: #73 bus to the terminus in Piazza Diaz. Then, #15 tram in Via Dogana (a very short walk) to Porta Lodovica; get off the tram and take Viale Col di Lana until via Pietro Custodi (on your left).
Tickets for public transportation in the city cost 1,50€; there are, however, special fares for turists.
You can find them in most newspaper stands, tobacco shops and in the most important metro stations.
